The Young, Gifted & Black™ Entrepreneurial Awards seeks to induct into their YGB Caribbean Music Entertainment ICON Hall of Fame in addition to selecting the 2024 Impact Artist of the Year  by public voting. The artist to be inducted are selected through our online voting poll to identify five (5) top artists whose body of work has impacted their industry and community.

The selection  process is an annual poll using the attached surveys.   Prior artists honored are: (2023) Bunji Garlin, Fay-Ann Lyons, Spice; (2022) Buju Banton, Rita Marley, Koffee; (2021) Beres Hammond,  Beenie Man, Freddie McGregor, Marcia Griffiths, Marcel Montano; Tanya Stephens (2020); Bounty Killa (2019); Richie Stephens (2018) and Tony Rebel (2017).

Voters are asked to complete (5) surveys. Each survey allows the voter to select up to a maximum of ten (10) Caribbean, World, Afrobeat & Latin Artists in their respective category or musical genres. However, the voter should select an artist who impacts their society, makes contributions to their community and continues to embrace an entrepreneurial spirit
